  Description

Nissin Full Optional Radial Brake Master Cylinder - Maximum Quality / Price Ratio - Excellent Performance.

Kit includes:

  • Radial Master Cylinder, including 1 Micro-switch.
  • Bracket & Reservoir Mounting Kit: 45cc Reservoir, Reservoir Bracket, Brake Fluid Hose with clamps, fixing hardware (as shown in the picture).
  • Mirror Clamp M10x1.25 to be usued also as base for the reservoir bracket.

Micro-switch
A special housing has been designed for the rear stop light mechanic micro switch, for street usage of the master cylinder. The micro-switch is supplied in the same master cylinder package.
The switch works "normally open" when the lever rests; by pressing the lever it closes the circuit. The switch can not replace a switch that works "normally closed", such as BMW switches, Yamaha equipped with cruise control (ex MT-10 and Tracer)

Clamp: kit includes two clamps, one is the standard clamp, one is a mirror clamp for M10x1.25 Standard Right Hand Threaded Mirrors. Won't fit M10x1.25 Left Hand Threaded Mirrors.

Radial 19mm or Semi-Radial 19mm or Radial 17mm, which one shall I choose? These numbers identify piston diameter:

  • Radial 19mm to be installed on twin disks bikes with axial or radial calipers; NOT compatible with Floating Calipers
  • Semi-Radial 19mm to be installed on twin disks bikes with axial or radial calipers; NOT compatible with Floating Calipers; compared to the Radial , braking is more progressive, moreover it takes up less space in width, important if the right electric control is very wide
  • Radial 17mm (the precise measure is 11/16" = 17,5mm)to be installed on twin disks bikes with axial or radial calipers whose pistons diameter is 32mm or lower, for example Ducati Panigale or RSV4, Yamaha R6, CBR1000RR etc etc. NOT compatible with Floating Calipers

Oem axial master cylinder brakes hoses could not fit radial mc, we can supply specific brake hoses or the adaptor.
Maximize its power combined with Fren Tubo Brake Lines.
Please Note: if you are replacing a Brembo master cylinder you need a M10x1.25 banjo bolt

  Customer Questions & Answers
Question:
How well does this fit with the Kawasaki Z800? Will it cause any problems with the ABS system?
April / 05 / 2014
Answer:
Z800 calipers are 4 pistons each not floating, therefore this mc is a good solution, no problem with ABS as well.

Question:
Hi! What is the best solution, of brake cylinder to my street Kawa zx10r -06. Should I order tihis Nissin cylinder, or do you can recommed some better Brembo cylinder?
June / 10 / 2014
Answer:
To use only on street 19x21 (Nissin or Brembo) is a good solution, to use on street and track, 19x20 is the right one, to use only on track 19x18. 19RCS is both 19x20 and 19x18 for example.

Question:
I have a stock spongy 14mm master on my Triumph Speed Four. What would be the difference between this 19mm nissin MC an the 5/8" upgrade you also sell? Would 19mm be overkill and leave it feeling wooden?
July / 21 / 2014
Answer:
19mm will be too much, this is my opinion; note that many rider use this kind of master cilinder on smaller engine motorcycles and on scooter Mike TMax . I would use a 16mm radial or a 16mm / 19mm axial.

Question:
This product is it for you an improvement for a Tuono V4 ABS, and what about Brembo ?Tank you
October / 08 / 2014
Answer:
The right MC is the 17RCS, specific for M432 calipers.

My 5pw 02 yamaha r1 has a axial 14mm master cylinder will this 19mm nissin radial work or is it to big, i cant find much information on this , im ready to buy a new master cylinder just not shure what size
September / 19 / 2015
Answer:
As far I know your OE master cylinder is 16mm axial, not a 14mm. This Nissin will work fine on your bike.

Question:
Ive found more information about the oem master cylinder on my 02 yamaha r1 and its a 14mm axial can this 19mm nissin radial master work on my bike , have you seen a 19mm used before on this bike

Question:
Dear sir, How well does this fit with the Honda CBR650F 2017? Will it cause any problems with the ABS system?
November / 15 / 2017
Answer:
This is not the right master cylinder fro your bike. As far your CBR use two piston floating calipers the diameter it is too big. We suggest Brembo 15RCS or Nissin 16mm.

Question:
Hi my moto ist Suzuki GSX 750 year 2002 Inazuma. Ist this Nissin radial MC 19mm right choice?
November / 16 / 2017

No, as far I know (I owned one GSX 750 Inazuma) the calipers are 2 pistons floating calipers therefore you can use maximum a Brembo 15RCS or a Nissin 16mm.

Hi, yes this MC works well with your bike. You need brake line adapter 170101

Question:
Can i use it for track and road use or the brembo rcs 19/20.Which is the better 1 for a 1999 gsxr 750 srad. Thanks
January / 30 / 2018
Answer:
Nissin is for main road use, in fact was used as stock mc on many GSXR 750 model year after your model. Brembo 19RCS is one step more towards track use.

Question:
Dear, I have a CBR 900 RR '92 with steel braided lines, will this MC work for me?thx!
April / 09 / 2018
Answer:
This master cylinder will be OK for your bike. But as far as you have lines for axial master cylinder you will need the universal adaptor 170101

Question:
hallo do you have  a service kit or parts for 44MCB19NB thank you!!!!!!!!!!
May / 31 / 2018
Answer:
Yes, listed inside this page under spare parts.

Question:
Hi guys! I own a tdm 900 abs model 2007. The master cylinder of the bike is a 16mm axial unit with two not floating 4 pot calipers. Can i use this Nissin unit to upgrade my brakes? The bike is usually rides quite loaded and i need a powerful brake. If the Nissin mc is ok, what else would i need? Compatibility with ABS? Thank you!
June / 16 / 2018
Answer:
Yes and works with ABS, plase note : 1) Using a 19mm will add a lot of power but less modulability. ") The correct mc is a radial 17mm.

Question:
June / 26 / 2018
Answer:
Recomendamos el 17RCS Brembo para uso en carretera / pista y 19x16 para uso en pista.

Question:
Hi would like to clarify my doubts between 44MCB19NB and 44MCB19N0.Q1) May i know why one is more pricy than the other as both is 19× 21?Q2) Is there any differenc between this 2 product other than it colour?
August / 19 / 2018
Answer:
Q1) Because we purchase bulk quantities of one , therefore we have a better purchase / sale price.Q2) No, just the color

Question:
Hi,I would also like to put it to MT09 ABS, but:-above it is stated I should use 17mm, as piston diameter are below 32 ( in fact they are 30 / 27 )- Brembo also suggest RCS 17- your answer above is this MC will suit MT09ABSwill it really work or 17mm is better?Rok
August / 31 / 2018
Answer:
Yes and will work fine but: Using a 19mm = adding power and loosing modulability. The best choice is a radial 17mm master cylinder. Most people think the bigger is better, this is not true. In Motogp for example in the last year the caliper piston diameters decreased to add braking during the first part of the turn, in street bikes now the caliper piston diameter are smaller then 5 years ago, in fact most of the top bike use Brembo M50 or M432 which are smaller than the older Brembo M4.

Question:
Hi, if i buy this MC and the Fren Tubo Street Legal Brake Line Kit "Type 1" Yamaha MT-09 with ABS models black sleeve for radial MC (Product code: 142139PR-1N), are they compatible? Do i still need the 170101 adaptor?
September / 14 / 2018
Answer:
If you purchase in the same order just specify the hoses will be used with mc and we will ask Fren Tubo a custom made kit tp fit the Nissin radial mc

Question:
Hello,I would like to buy Nissin Radial Master brake cylinder but I don't know which one should I get because I don't know what would be the diference in feel. I have 2004 CBR 600 F4i, I have 2 calipers with 4 pistons each (two pistons are 32mm and other two are 34mm per caliper) master cylinder is 5/8 Axial with integrated reservoir. I would like to upgrade to Radial but I don't know how to calculate the right ratio. Which one shoud I get 17mm or 19mm. I believe that 19mm is the right one but I am not sure. Caliper pistons are bigger than on a CBR1000RR so this is my dilema. Can you please help me with decision.Thanks.
September / 26 / 2018
Answer:
The difference will be more modulability for 17RCS, more power for 19RCS. You can use both because you have a 16mm now, then both will improve your braking. Just your choice.

Question:
I would like to upgrade bakes on my Tuono V4 APRC 2013 (NO ABS)Is this brake cylindar good or should I choose 17RCS or 19RCS Brembo?
October / 09 / 2018
Answer:
You can use this master cylinder, or a Brembo 19RCS as well. 17RCS is not recommended on your Tuono 2013.

Question:
Hi.I want to upgrade my brakes on a ZX9R -99.I have rebuild my 6 pots calipers but the brakes are still not very good. Can you recomand this brake cylinder? I ride pretty fast and i would like the best brakes possible.Thank you
November / 02 / 2018
Answer:
Yes this is the right diameter for your Ninja ZX-9R 1999. This master cylinder is the right one for street use , sport use, and also for track. But if you use your bike only for track days we recommend a Brembo 19RCS or 19x18 .

Question:
I have a bmw r65 from 1987 on wich i did a fork swap so now i have a usd fork with the double calipers of a tl1000s, if im not mistaken they're each 4 pistons with floating discs would this be sufficient? Or do you have any other suggestions?
December / 15 / 2018
Answer:
If you run Suzuki TL1000S you can use a 17mm (which was the oem TL1000S piston diameter) or a 19mm diameter master cylinder as well .

Question:
Is there much difference in braking power from a nissin 19 x21 radial master cylinder which I bought from you that's fitted to my 02 yamaha r1 to the 19 mm x 18 /20 brembo rcs
February / 03 / 2019
Answer:
19x21 is a street master cylinder that can be used also on track, it was developed by Nissin to fit as stock master cylinder on Super Sport motorcycle with 34mm piston calipers, like for example Brembo M4. 19RCS is a racing master cylinder that can be used also for street riding, developed by Brembo for track days or sport riding. The AIM of the two parts is different so far.

Question:
Hi,I have an XTZ750 with a Radial Nissin master cylinder (Don't know if 19mm or 17mm) because it is not write anywhere on the master cylinder. the only numbers I found ( 2137RN and C8EA-BR222-S).The problem is that this master cylinder is to big for my motorbike and I can't fit the original hand guards on it, so I'm thinking to buy the axial 15.8mm or the semi-radial 19mm. Will those feet correctly on my bike too? does they brake as good as the radial 19mm? (I have the original clippers)In the other hand, what mins the 21mm on 19x21mm? what will fit on my bike 21 or 20 or other number?Thank you very mucha.
April / 29 / 2019
Answer:
Moving to another mc that is born for a motorcycle without handguards won't chenge the compatibility, it won't fit as well, the problem is the lever, how long and how far is from the bar. You must check how much space you got and then check the dimensions of a different master cylinder, for example Brembo PS16 .

Question:
Hello, what piston diameter is best suited for yamaha MT-10 in road use?
August / 05 / 2019
Answer:
The right diameter is over 17mm , it would be around 18mm, then right now the available options are 19mm master cylinders.

Question:
why this master cylinder cant be use with floating disk..what should use that is compatible with my current floating disk
August / 08 / 2019
Answer:
Read again what we write... we write Floating Calipers, not Floating Disks

Question:
Buonasera,ho una suzuki gsr 750 2015 e monto tubi in treccia goodrige potrebbe andare bene come pompa ? Cosa mi consiglia?Grazie
October / 14 / 2019
Answer:

Question:

November / 23 / 2019
Answer:
We recommend 17mm master cylinders or 16mm master cylinders.

Question:
Hi. Do I need an adapter for tdm 900 abs? Thanks
November / 24 / 2019
Answer:
For sure, stock lines are for axial master cylinder, we can supply specific brake hoses or the adaptor.

Question:
Hello:I am using the OEM Brembo 4 piston (32mm/34mm piston size) fixed calipers from a 1993 BMW R100R. That bike used a 20mm axial master cylinder. Which size Nissin radial master cylinder do you recommend? Many Thanks,Jim
November / 30 / 2019
Answer:
If tyhe ome is 20mm use 19mm. Please note that one single caliper P4 30/34 should work with 15 or 16mm master cylinder, while 2 x calipers with 16 or 17 master cylinders.

Question:
Hi, I have GSX 1400 K2, I have TOKICO Calipers from SV 1000 with pistons size 34mm and 30mm. Do "Nissin Radial Brake Master Cylinder 19x21mm" will be good for this option? And I'am also searching for radial clutch master cylinder (same pisont size as OEM) similar to brake master cylinder - do you have something like that?
December / 03 / 2019
Answer:
Hi, this MC is correct for your calipers. We don't know which piston size is your OEM clutch. You can read it over the clutch body then choose. Probably is 14mm.

Question:
hi,Can I use this part to replace the factory one on my Honda CBR600 Yr of manufacture 2005Thanks,Charmay
December / 10 / 2019
Answer:
Yes sure, you will add more braking power. Please note your oem mc is axial therefore you would need the adaptor or new brake lines. If you still run oem ribber brake lines , now it is the time to change them .

May / 14 / 2020
Answer:
15mm / 16 mm is the right size, you might read the Brembo RCS pages where we explain that max 15mm / 16mm should be used on twin disks braking system carrying floating calipers (Naked) like Z750 2004 .

Question:
Hello,I am interesting in buying front brake master cylinder for suzuki GSXR 600 K8, but I don't know which to choose, 17mm or 19mm.I would like to have the same size/number as it comes originaly on my bike. Thanks for any back informations
May / 14 / 2020
Answer:
As far we know this master cylinder is the same as your stock mc, same diameter, for any doubt check over your stock mc , you should read 3/4 = 3/4 inch = 19 mm .

Question:
I have this master cylinder fitted on my bike and want to change the lever to a diffferent/shorter (and "higher") type. Can you provide me with that or can I use a lever for a Brembo RSC master cylinder?

Question:
Hello, I own a 2000 Zx9r e1 and have Goodridge lines with OEM Tokico 6 pot calipers. Please can you confirm if this master cylinder is the correct fit for my motorcycle. Also the illustration show a bleed nipple on this MC. Please can you confirm that MC does actually come with one? Thanks
June / 05 / 2020
Answer:
2000 Zx9r mounts an axial master cylinder therefore this master cylinder is not plug and play. The image was shot here recently and shows a real master cylinder here in stock.

Question:
Hi - is this unit compatible with a 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa (Nissin Radial Brake Master Cylinder 19x21mm, Black Body, Silver Lever, includes reservoir, mirror clamp and switch stop)? If so what is the postage to Brisbane Australia? Cheers, John
June / 24 / 2020
Answer:
Unless you don't change brake lines or use an adaptor you can't mount it because stock master cylinder is axial. Postage: open the link in the page.

Question:
Hi carpimoto. I'm currently in the process of turning my recently purchased mt07 into my short circuit track bike, just installed clip ons and will be needing a radial MC, 18mm or 19mm bore. Will the nissin be a better option running alongside HEL braided lines ?. This is ofcourse to a budget or I'll be looking at brembo. Switches, as the rear light is a requirement on UK trackdays, does the switch come with the nissin set up ?
June / 24 / 2020
Answer:
Your calipers work best with 17mm diameter master cylinders. Therefore we recommend a Brembo 17RCS or a Nissin 17mm . In case you want to use a only track mc the right one is 19x18mm on which you will mount a M10x1mm pressure switch .

Question:
July / 07 / 2020
Answer:
La corsa a vuoto non cambia usando una pèompa praticamente identica, molto probabilmente hai un problema di spurgo, ma non si può escludere un problema sulla pompa. Se vuoi regolare la corsa a vuoto acquista la 19RCS Corsa Corta .

Question:
Hi there, I'm using a 1992 Suzuki GSXR-1100R with Tokico 6 pots caliper, can I use a Nissin 3/4 with these calipers? Thank you!

Question:
I am looking for a better feeling master cylinder for my 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000.The OEM setup is a 14mm Axial M/C and each calliper has two off 1-3/16” (30.2mm) and two off 1-1/16” (26.97mm) pistons in each caliper. At the moment the feel is still very long and spongy (I have already replaced Brake Lines with Hel)What types / sizes of Radial and Axial Master cylinders would you recommend upgrading to to give a better feel on the road? Thanks in advance :-)
October / 25 / 2020
Answer:
The correct upgrade will be a 15mm radial (modulable) or a 16mm axial master cylinder (still modulable) or a 17 radial (more power, less modulable).

Question:
What upgrade is suggested for my Honda CB1300SF 2006 ABS, currently it has stock Nissin 14MM master cylinder, for 100% street use, no race use14MM, 17MM or 19MM?
November / 03 / 2020
Answer:
The step forward a 14mm is a 16mm axial , for example the Nissin axial . Are you sure is it a 14mm ? Please check again , we saw some picture on-line showing "1/2" over the body which is half inch = about 13mm. If so it is very very small .

Question:
Hi have a 2013 cb1100 19mm std mc 19mm with oem twin floating calipers but have 320 discs instead of oem ones looking at upgrading to either axial or radial type very happy with current lever pressure and feel what would you suggest please regards rod
November / 20 / 2020
Answer:
If you are happy do not change the master cylinder. Every change will be a change. Also a different disk diameter is something won't matter the master cylinder. If you want to have more power just change the pads and the brake fluid.

Question:
Hi, I have the front end of a Suzuki GSXR750 Slingshot (1989 with conventional forks) on a cafe racer project. The calipers are the Nissin 34/32 calipers and the master cylinder is the original 14mm axial that were originally on the Suzuki. What radial master cylinder would be best for the 34 / 32 Nissin calipers?
January / 31 / 2021

Question:
I ordered the brake line kit for 2019 MT09SP OEM Master Cylinder yesterday and now I realised I should change the Master Cylinder as well while doing everything at once. Does the brake line I ordered - Fren Tubo Street Legal Brake Line Kit "Type 1" Yamaha MT-09 17-20, MT-09 SP 18-20; kit composed by 7 hoses compatible with this Nissin Master Cylinder? or I need some extra parts for this master cylinder? If yes, do you sell them?
October / 05 / 2021
Answer:
The stock mc is axial, therefore the brake line won't fit a radial mc. You have then two choices: 1) order just the first line (the one that commect the mc) 2) order the universal adapter. The best choice is the 1), we reccomend to ask directly Fren Tubo a quote and then add to tour new order. Please write then to officina@frentubo.com

Question:
Hello i would like to ask if that fits for honda cb650r 2021 and if its an upgrade from oem lever. Also does it come with short lever thx in advance
October / 18 / 2021
Answer:
19mm is a too big master cylinder piston, we recommend at max 17mm, if you use 19mm on street it will be very difficult to modulate braking .
