  Description

Brembo, through a relevant engineering work, succeeded in producing a monobloc caliper at an interesting price but keeping very high technology.

The structural design, of course radial, is MONOBLOC type as already said. Of course a real monobloc, like those used in MotoGP and SBK from the majority of the riders, that is to say without the lateral caps which hold the pistons. Brembo, unequalled in the world, developed this technology so as to assure unique stiffness and working precision.

TECHNICAL INFO:

  • Fixing hole distance 108 mm
  • Off-set = 22,5mm
  • Interchangeable with 108mm mounting oe radial calipers (spacers and bolts maybe required - check linked products before place the order)
  • 4 pistons Ø 34mm
  • 2 high performance brake pads
  • pads anti-vibrating springs
  • double piston seals
  • Red Brembo logo, hand painted, identifying a Racing products

The kit is supplied in box with sponge rubber and includes Brembo stickers and Thermotapes to check the working temperature.

Please Note: CBR 1000 RR 04-05 stock disk is 310mm, CBR 600 RR stock disk is 310mm, CB 1000R stock disk is 310mm. To install these calipers on these bikes you need to install 320mm disks and adaptors pn 105998709. You can install only Brembo CNC P4 30/34 calipers pn 220A01610 with adaptors pn 105998709.

Requires spacing and bolts adaptors, check list.

Brembo recommends not to install this caliper if the motorcycle oem brake system is a ABS System (for example not recommended on CBR 1000 RR without removing ABS Brake lines).
On R1 2015 model years onwards caliper can't be installed with stock front fender.

Question:
Hi. I am planning to replace the OEM Tokico calipers on my GSX-R1000 K7 (OEM discs, 6mm thick, 310mm in diameter). Can I install the Brembo calipers using the OEM components? Namely ...1. Do I need spacers?2. Can I use the OEM bolts for fixing the Brembo calipers?3. Can I use the OEM bolts for fixing the hoses to the Brembo calipers?4. Do brake pads for the OEM Tokico calipers also fit the Brembo calipers? Thanks
January / 14 / 2008
Answer:
1 Yes you need spacers and specific bolts, 2/3/4 you can't use the OEM bolts/hoses/pads

Question:
Hi. Will these calipers fit my yamaha R6R-2007 OEM brakelines and banjobolts? If not, does carpimoto offer brakeline kit for these brembo units that would fit my bike?

Question:
Hi, I bent 2 pairs of OEM rotors with this calipers + 19x18 Master. What brembo rotors or brake pads I need to have zero problems?
March / 24 / 2009
Answer:
These calipers works with stock or in any case commericial disks, maybe there is some other problem, for example too much brake fluid and too much contact whule not braking between pads and disks; it is difficult to tell you without the bike in front. In any case with Braking or Brembo disks, + all the pads we sell on web site you will not have problems for sure. The pads coming with the calipers are as well really fine, they are the same used on most expensive Ducatis with italian steel stock disks

Question:
Hello. Can you confirm this calipers will perfectly work for a ZX10R 2006-2007 with stock discs and goodridge brakelines?Do I need the the spacer/bolt kit reference 105998709 or there is one specific for my modelhttp://www.carpimoto.com/product/Lang_EN/Chan_180/Brand_6/Bike_259/Firm_0/Prod_30175.htmThank you for your kind attention and best regards.

hi, i have mv agusta F4 1000 07 , could i use monoblock with spacer 108mm ?
November / 17 / 2009
Answer:
I asked Brembo just for a further confirm and they told me that your bike uses 100mm calipers: you should use all the 100mm pitch calipers for large track disks

Question:
can i put these calipers to a tiger 1050 08?do i need adapters or something else?
December / 15 / 2009
Answer:
Brembo does not provide any adaptor application list for Triumph, we have listed some Triumph models just because the caliper pitch is 108mm and because usually the workshop which will mount them knows how to install them

Question:
Hi, I have a Suzuki GSXR 1000 K9, will these Brembo calipers 220A39710 fit my racebike? What else do I need to order, I'm currently running with the 19x18 Brembo master cylinder, braided brakelines and stock brake disks - i.e. Specific adapter? banjo bolts? Brakeline?Does Brembo still produce the old gold P4 calipers (the gold one with for pads and used on the old Ducatis 999s)?
February / 20 / 2010
Answer:
As you can check the application list reports your bike as compatible, and the linked products link lists the adapter 220A02421 >>> Caliper works on your bike with adapters only. New brake lines or specific bolts should be required. The first gold radial calipers are still available and are on our site also

Question:
Buongorno,I have a question about a set of Brembo calipers on your Website:http://www.carpimoto.it/EN/Bike_Triumph_Daytona-675/Specific/Brand_Brembo/Page_2/31899_220A39710-Brembo-Set-Monobloc-M4-34-Radial-Calipers-108mm-pitch.htmI have a 2007 Triumph 675 Daytona. I believe these should work on my forks, but will need spacers. Can you confirm, or is there a specific part for the Daytona? Also, can you confirm on when these will ship out to the US? The Webpage has a shipping date of S9/6/11 and I want to be sure you mean June and not September (US date format)Gratzie,-Rich Angermiller
June / 06 / 2011
Answer:
HelloWe are in Italy and even if this page is in english we use the italian date format, dd/mm/yyyy. Regardind calipers they work with your stock feet with adapters. Brembo told us that the adapters for stock 308mm rotors is the pn 220A02413, and for 310mm rotors is the pn 220A02415 , but a customer told that the spacers (not the bolts) included in the kit has to be adjusted (a small mod), for this reason the adapters has not full compatibility (we prefer not give full compatibility and not have claims).

July / 31 / 2011
Answer:

Question:

November / 09 / 2011
Answer:

January / 31 / 2012
Answer:

2 pads means that each caliper has 2 pads. These calipers comes with pads included.

Are as in the pictures.

I want to purchase these calipers for my k5 suzuki gsxr 1000. My bike has galfer wavy discs with goodridge brake lines. Will they still fit with adapters 220A06117.
March / 24 / 2012
Answer:
Yes if the diameter of your disks is the same as stock diameter there is no problem.

Question:
Hi, do you know if these calipers will fit the stock Triumph Tiger 1050 forks without adaptors? Also, will I require any further parts to make them fit the stock forks and discs? Apart from maybe new brake hoses? Many thanks in advance
April / 13 / 2012
Answer:
I can report what Brembo write about Speed Triple same year: they say spacers are not necessary. I don't have any other info. What you should check is the height of the part that fix the caliper to the feet. I mean the part where the bolt is inside the caliper. We can check also the height of the M4 and understand if you need spacers. I will be happy to receive the measures here in this section of the site if you want.

Question:
Hi, I have à Moto Guzzi V 11 -04. Can I put this brakes on my bike ? Mario
November / 23 / 2012
Answer:
No, your bike use axial calipers.

Question:
i asked anther site, and they said that the 220A39710 is fit for CB1000R on 310mm disk.so, will you check it again? if the 220A39710 can if on my CB1000R (2012). i will order at here.
December / 02 / 2012
Answer:
The other site did not checked the official Brembo High Performance Application list that STATES you CAN'T intall on CB 1000 R with 310mm. BTW since you don't trust us you may trust Brembo (maybe you can ask to Nissin also...), so copy and paste the following link in your browser, maybe you can even post it to the other site http://www.brembo.com/en/bike/Racing/Racing/Documents/Application%20List.pdf

Question:
hi i would like to mount the m4 radial monobloc calippers on a street triple r and i have read that i need tha spacers 220A02413 for the 308 mm rotors.i cant find them on your web please help me

Question:
Hi, I wish to purchase brembo m4 monoblock calipers for my 2006 GSXR 1000.I have Braketech axis oversize iron discs (330mm instead of 310mm) 330 x 6 mm with appropriate spacers and bolts for the stock caliper.I have a brembo RCS 19 master cylinder with double banjo bolt running spiegler SS braided lines one directly to each side.Question: I want to buy these calipers - what else do I need to change to make them fit in my configuration?Thank you.
January / 31 / 2013
Answer:
I can't answer because 330 disks are not supported by the adapters provided by Brembo. If I were in you I shall purchase the adapters for 320mm disks 220A06117 and try to assemble the kit. I guess you shall only find the right size of the spacers. Regarding brake lines the banjos that connect the calipers on M4 are different for the one used on tokico.

Question:
Also, what brand brake pads do I order for these calipers - do pads for Ducati 1098 work? I wish to run Ferodo CP1 carbon ceramic pads, or a brembo equivaleent.
January / 31 / 2013
Answer:
All the available pads are listed down this page. M4 are the 1098 oem calipers.

Question:
I have installed Brembo M4 monobloc calipers (inc pads) and Brembo T-drive rotors all purchased from Carpimoto. Now I have excessive brake pad dragging on the rotor and very noisy. Wheel spins about 1 &1/4 turn when spun on stand. Were the brake pads installed in the caliper already and how are they secured withing the caliper as it isn't with hex bolts as I am used to ? I just install the calipers as I thought the pads were already installed, could this be my problem?
May / 18 / 2013
Answer:
As far I understood the union of calipers / disks is noisy ands pads drag on the disk. Everything is typical of racing brake systems. T-Drive is the state of the art of Steel Racing disks (it is used in Motogp wet races), the rotor typically moves over the bell with noise. It moves front rear and right left, this is why pads drag because the disk is full floating not like stock disks.

Question:
What extra parts will I need to fit to my zzr1400 2011 abs.Thankyou tony
July / 03 / 2013
Answer:
You can't install these calipers on a ABS equipped motorcycle.

Question:
Hi I have the m4 calipers 108mm and need some new pads.Is pads number 07bb3090 the ones that is fitted in the calipers when new? or what part numbers will work in the calipers?
August / 06 / 2013
Answer:
Brake pads are listed down this page and and are changing as far these calipers are produced, the changes concern the compound and not the shape of the pads, so please order the model listed as spare part.

Question:
hi i have brembo m4 calipers with spacers on my GSXR 1000 k5/6 bike with OEM 310mm discs.... i want to buy brembo 320mm discs, will the 320mm disc fit ok if i take the current spacers out of m4 calipers or do i need new spacers
September / 04 / 2013
Answer:
You need the 220A06177 adapter kit

Question:
Hi, what spacer kit do I need for the GSXR 1000 K3 on these calipers as I believe the bolts are the same as standard and so just need the 5mm spacers !?! I cannot find a kit that has this listed . . only the 105998709, which is bolts ??? No spacers ?? Thanks :)
October / 19 / 2013
Answer:

Question:
Hi,will these work with a stock master cylinder off a 2006 ducati 999? I'm using it for a custom application but that is the master I want use to run dual mono callipers. Please and thanks Dan
January / 05 / 2014
Answer:
They work with a Brand New Ducati 999 oe master cylinder. As far The mc has now 8 years I suggest to purchase a new one, for sure it will not be safe to install such an old mc

Question:
As per my previous question. The mc is new on a custom trike. Do you mean old mc as in technology wise? It's just the style of mc I have chosen for the look of the trike, the mc is only a year old. I'm looking at running bike calipers for rear brakes instead of the auto calipers that came with rear end. Just trying to match best caliper to work with my master cylinder. Please and thanks. Dan
January / 06 / 2014
Answer:
Old:I meant that has a big mileage (many years of work).

Question:
Hi.. I have a 2013 cbr 1000rr abs model. I've bought the rcs master cylinder and hpk calipers.lots have been said about fit them, don't fit them for safety reasons.. Many thanks Daz
January / 10 / 2014

Question:
Hi, I have a Kawasaki GTR 1400, 2008 model with ABS brakes.According to this page the M4 108 is not recommended for this bike. Would it suffice to take off the ABS sensor itself instead of the actual brake line. How would the M4 108 perform if the ABS was left intact. Thanks!
January / 29 / 2014
Answer:
The problem with ABS is that every ABS system is dedicated to a whole brake system. Brembo tested several bikes and reported that it is possible to change the master cylinder but not the calipers.

Question:

Question:
Hi, i will like to know which adapters do I need for a kawasaki z1000 2010. Thanks
May / 28 / 2014

Brembo does not provide an application list for Z1000, but as far ZX-10 2008 use same caliper we think that 220A06117 will be the correct adaptor.

Hayabusa 99-07 mounts axial calipers therefore it is not possible to use radial calipers without changing the fork feet or purchasing specific adapters (we don't sell any of the two).

Question:
I have a 2004 Kawasaki ZX12R. Forks have radial caliper mounts. I do not see that the Brembo M4 108mm calipers are compatible with this motorcycle, but I do not understand why. The caliper mounts are the standard 108mm. The M4's can fit on a ZX14, and the OEM calipers from a ZX14 can be fit on the ZX12R. In fact, many riders convert the ZX12R's calipers to those from the ZX14. So perhaps there is another reason? Can you learn why and tell me?Thank you
February / 23 / 2017
Answer:
There'is no application for your bike because Brembo doesn't produce the specific spacers for your bike. If you find the correct spacers this calipers fit your bike.

Question:
I'm about to order some Brembo M4 calipers from you for my 2015 R6. I'll be using my stock rotors as they've only got 300 miles on them. I'll be sticking with the Brembo sintered pads that come with M4's. I can't find any info online in regards to Brembos pad bedding procedure. Is it similar to EBC? Go easy on brakes for first 300 miles or so, and then do hard stops from 60mph to 10-20mph several times to let brakes heat up?Also, any suggestions on best way to prep OEM rotors on my R6 for the new pads?Lastly, I already have an RCS19, is that still a proper pairing for the M4 108mm calipers seeings as they're using 34mm pistons? Thanks!
April / 20 / 2017
Answer:
Pad bedding is really simple, with sintered pads thre is no need for a thermal bedding but only mechanical bedding, if brake disks are new there is no need so far, just go easy pushing very soft for the about 5 km, then hard stops and disk cooling several times. The only real recommendation is to clean the brake disks to avoid mixing with the previuous compound, use a good brake cleaner. Mix different compund damage the pads. 19RCS is the perfect match, correct.

ABS Disclaimer: We recommend not to change calipers on ABS equipped motorcycles to be used on road (we need to write it before adding any other comments). Brembo M4 are not an upgrade , they are very close your calipers, You should consider calipers close to Ninja ZX-10R like Brembo GP4 RS to be used with Brembo 17RCS. You need spacer or bolts, but right now Brembo has not yet checked which one could fit (talked with them this morning). It could be 105998709 but we can't confirm.

Question:
Do these calipers (or the GP4 RS ones) fit on the Yamaha MT-07? In case they do, which Brembo master cylinder, brake discs and pads do you recommend that go along with these calipers? If these calipers can't fit the MT-07, which calipers would you recommend from Brembo or similar quality brand in combination with other braking components (discs, pads, master cylinder, braided lines, brake fluid etc.). I am looking for best quality braking system.

No, changing the caliper you should change the banjo brake fittings and therefore the brake lines, you can verify when you got the caliper installed btw and then decide.

Question:
continue to the last message above.you didn't enlighten me.First of all I was asking which of the two products is recommended for my motorcycle. I was also telling you that the motorcycle has the original brake pump, the mentioned brake discs and the brake hoses from the tubo brake and I was asking you if I need anything else to install these brembo calipers. can you make me a list of everything I need to use this product on my motorcycle?and the last question, which are better and more suitable for my motorcycle:220A39710 or 220C78310thank you very much!
September / 16 / 2020
Answer:
The list is short: You need a custom made brake line kit (we can provide it on demand, there is not a preset code). M4 is one of the first radial caliper produced by Brembo, now the new brake line guide is to use smaller size pistons calipers therefore GP4RS, but many riders still like 34mm pistons.
