  Description

Brembo 19RCS Premium Kit: Brembo 19RCS Radial Master Cylinder + Bracket & Reservoir Mounting Kit at a very special price.

Premium Kit includes:

  • Brembo 19RCS Radial Master Cylinder, including 1 Micro-switch and 1 x double banjo bolt (M10x1mm for double banjo lines).
  • Bracket & Reservoir Mounting Kit: 45cc Reservoir, Reservoir Bracket, Brake Fluid Hose with clamps, fixing hardware (as shown in the picture).
  • 1 x single banjo bolt M10x1mm (Fren Tubo part number B19001-ZNI for single banjo line)

For twin disc systems, Brembo common radial master cylinders are 19 x 18 and 19 x 20, and for Nissin is 19x21.
The choice between these models is due to the different feeling that each of them gives to the rider: the 19 x 18 is the extremest version, the shorter wheelbase is preferred by riders who like more power and excellent progressiveness, with a working stroke slightly shorter than the 19x20, the 19 x 20 is the "ready" version, the longer the wheelbase is, the shorter lever runs, as well less power is transferred to the piston.

Brembo 19RCS Adjustable Ratio combines in one product two aims.

Adjustable ratio: RCS system
This new patented device allows to modify the pump lever ratio on two values, 18 or 20 mm, by simply rotation of the eccentric drive placed on the front of the lever drive. By the RCS system – Ratio Click System – it is very easy to pass from one configuration to the other one, modifying the lever ratio to adjust it to the different characteristics of the braking system, of the usage and driving, such as, for ex., the wet or dry conditions, asphalt with more or less grip, circuit with strong braking.
This adjustment is the element missing till now to get the ideal feeling among the rider, the driving style, the bike and the circuit.
NB. The red spot on the eccentric drive identifies position 18mm of the lever ratio, while black indicates position 20mm.
MotoGP Floating Piston
The inner piston, seals, push rod are the same as the majority of the MotoGP and SBK riders use.
Brake master cylinder carries out a crucial job during the braking and the usage of the MotoGP parts guarantee excellent performances in all usage conditions because of the very reduced manufacturing tolerances and of the very good smoothness.
Master cylinder body
The master cylinder body is in aluminium alloy, produced by forging and then CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machined by lightening milling.
Very closed manufacturing tolerances, similar to those used in MotoGP, guarantee the perfect matching with the floating piston due to a working precision never seen. For the superficial finishing it has been chosen the hard anodizing, electrolytic process which converts the surface of aluminium and its alloys into a vary hard oxide coating which guarantees very high resistance to abrasion and corrosion.
Brake lever
The lever is made of two main components: the racing lever drive and the lever itself, folding and manufactured by forging. In the lever joint it has been inserted a patented system which allows the rotation only by the effect of an eventual tumble of the bike, without the possibility of an accidental rotation and getting in this way a bigger dynamic
safety.
The control for the lever distance adjustment from the handlebar has been re-placed and now it is in axis with the lever itself, guaranteeing the assembly of the eventual remote adjuster.
By using this control, the press push rod does not move in respect to the master cylinder body, keeping the best working angle of the push rod. Therefore, either by getting the brake lever closer or farer to the handlebar, the efficiency of the kinematics motion does not change, assuring less friction and lack of scattered forces.
In addition the lever has its fulcrum on the pump body by mean of a bushing/gauged pin system which guarantees high stiffness and better feeling together with a high resistance to wear.

Micro-switch
A special housing has been designed for the rear stop light mechanic micro switch, for street usage of the master cylinder. The micro-switch is supplied in the same master cylinder package.
The switch works "normally open" when the lever rests; by pressing the lever it closes the circuit. The switch can not replace a switch that works "normally closed", such as BMW You can purchase optional switch available in the linked products.

Lever contrast springs
High load springs have been chosen to guarantee the constant contact between the eccentric drive and the push rod; in this way you can avoid wear due to the knocking by the vibrations of the vehicle and an item of further safety is introduced in the transient phase between accelerator release and brake, resulting in an advantageous life increase of the various components.

19RCS , 17RCS, 15RCS, 14RCS ? These numbers identify piston diameter:

  • 19RCS to be installed on twin disks bikes with axial or radial calipers but NOT on Floating Calipers
  • 17RCS to be installed on twin disks bikes with axial or radial calipers whose pistons diameter is 32mm or lower, but NOT on Floating Calipers; for example Ducati Panigale or RSV4, Yamaha R6 etc etc.
  • 15RCS to be used on twin disks braking system carrying floating calipers (Naked), and on single disk bikes (motard).
    The 15 RCS with 15 x 20 set up works like a 16 x 18 mc, while 15 x 18 equals a 16 x 16 mc.
  • 14RCS to be installed on single/twin disks Scooters and single disks Motorcycles (from 50cc up to 600cc) . Available both Right and Left Side.

Oem axial master cylinder brakes hoses could not fit radial mc, we can supply specific brake hoses or the adaptor.

Question:
I will be ordering the 19 RCS brake master and the 16 RCS clutch master for my 996 Ducati and need to know if special lines (brakes or clutch) will be required. I have a single banjo bolt coming off of the existing brake master cylinder that is one line that splits into two, will the existing banjo bolt work on the 19 RCS brake master?
25/10/2015
Answer:
Good Morning, you can change brake and clutch lines with another one made for RCS or you can buy Universal Radial Master Cylinder Adaptor by Frentubo code 170101

Question:
Back to the question regarding the need to replace the brake and clutch lines on my 996 Ducati to use the RCS master cylinders. Is this because the RCS uses a larger banjo bolt? When you mention using another line made for RCS which would that be or were you referring to the Frentubo lines you noted.
26/10/2015
Answer:
Good Morning, lines for radial master cylinders has a 90° banjo, instead your lines has usually 15° or 30° banjo. Fren Tubo adapters 170101 allows to change your banjo in a banjo for radial master cylinder.

Question:
Hi, can this fit the Tmax 530 2016 model?Do I need to get 2 for left and right? What else is needed?
14/06/2016
Answer:
I will never use 19mm on a TMAX, I would use 17RCS and 16RCS or 17RCS + 14RCS. Btw many people use 19RCS on TMAX, they use 19RCS (for example this kit) and 110A26370 (19RCS Clutch) or 110A26350 16RCS Clutch. In any case you need new brake lines, reservoir and mounting kit.

Question:
Hi, I own a zx10r 2016 Kawi, looking to replace master cylinder. It has the M50 calipers. Should I buy the Rcs 17 or 19. What's the difference between both other than the piston size. I tried out my friends bike with a M4 caliper and Rcs 19, really love the bite and brake feel. So looking for the same. Pls advice 17 or 19. Also, eventually if I am planning to change to a different caliper, will it be a good idea just to take the 19 instead of 17, because it's more Generic fit.
17/10/2016
Answer:
Hi, usually with M50 calipers we suggest 17RCS, because you'll have a more modular braking. With 19 RCS you'll have less modular braking and more power. If you are thinking to change also the calipers the best solution for you is 19 RCS.

Question:
Hello, i have a 2016 R1 and i want to improve my braking on trackdays. but i'm confused whether i should get the 17rcs or the 19rcs for my stock calipers?
17/10/2016

We suggest 19RCS or 19x18.

Question:
Hello, I have a S 1000 XR 2016 and I`m planning to use a 19 RCS. Is there a ABE for this Bike, because it is absolutely necessary for the legal Vehicle registration requirement in my Country. Thank you
28/10/2016
Answer:
For your S1000XR you can use 17RCS or 19RCS, both are correct, I would use 17RCS because I like less power and more modulability but is my choice, most of the riders prefer more power. Handguards is mounted should be removed.

Question:
I have a 2005 GSXR1000 and it indicates that it would not fit my bike. I notice that it fits 05/06 600 and 750 models and I thought they were the same. Is there another version that may fit the gsxr1000 k5 or this will be ok to fit. thanking you david
24/11/2016
Answer:
Yes this mc works fine on your K5. Brembo writes on their website that it fits your bike.

Question:
Hello. Is the 19RCS the right model of master cylinder for my 1991 Yamaha FJ1200ABS? It has twin floating front discs (EBC replacements) and fixed four piston calipers - I have swapped the standard calipers for early Yamaha R1 "blue spots" (a common FJ upgrade as the blue spots bolt straight on).
27/11/2016
Answer:
You can use 19RCS or 17RCS .

Question:
Hi! I have just bought this for my 2001 bandit 1200 and I love it, thanks! Do you sell a matching clutch lever that I can use with my stock clutch master cylinder? Or, what parts should I buy to have a matching clutch lever (master cylinder etc) ?
28/11/2016
Answer:
Hi, Brembo doesn't produce a lever for OEM Master Cylinder. You should purchase Brembo 16RCS, code 110A26350. You also need reservoir kit 110A26386, radial master cylinder adapter 170101 and mirror clamp (you can see it in linked products)

Question:
Thanks for reply 27/11/16 re right kit for my Yamaha FJ1200ABS with twin blue spot Yamaha front calipers. So I can use either 17 or 19 RCS. What would the differenc be? I presume that the 19RCS would feel more powerful? I do not intend to use the bike on the track but only for road use. The power of the brakes at the moment with the standard 5/8 master cylinder is enough for me on the road. So would you suggest I do the 17 rather than the 19RCS? Thanks.
29/11/2016
Answer:
17RCS will be smoother while 19RCS has more power. If 5/8 (ie 16mm) is enough I recommend 17RCS , you can either choose Nissin 19x21 .

Question:
S1000R 2017 with OEM brembo calipers (34mm pistons) - can you please confirm which would be the better option the 19RCS or the 17RCS?
05/12/2016
Answer:
Hi, we recommend 19 RCS.

Question:
Hi. I have a 2012 BMW S1000RR. I want to fit this kit RCS19PK to my bike to replace the stock Nissin master cylinder & matching clutch lever 110BO1275. My question is, do I need to purchase anything else other than the 2 above mentioned items to make it all work with my bike? Thanks for your help.
24/12/2016
Answer:
Hello, Premium Kit includes everything you need to install 19RCS on bike that already has an oem radial master cylinder. Last week we added to this kit a M10x1mm banjo bolt also, single bolt is what you need to use on your S1000RR, this kit is a real hassle-free kit.. so far. Clutch lever fits your S1000RR 2012 also.

Question:
I require a brembo master cylinder for my Suzuki 2015 model I'm getting brake fade on track days therefore I would be grateful for your advise I have changed brake lines to braided lines, I have racing brake fluid and ebc brake pads and still my brakes are fading during track days Please suggest which is the best brembo master cylinder and one that will fit my Suzuki gsxr 1000 2015 model Await your help and advise so I can purchase from you
28/12/2016
Answer:
If you have fading changing master cylinder could help but I suggest to check all the other parts. A good master cylinder for road and track is 19RCS, for Track days I also recommend Brembo XR01171 - 19x18 CNC. Please note Fading usually comes for over heating, wrong pads, wrong brake fluid stock disks could be the issue. I suggest to use only racing parts, think about brake discs such as Brembo SuperSport ot T-Drive.

Question:
will this kit fit a Euro S1000rr 2016 OEM and oem brake lines ? will adaptor be needed ?
28/12/2016
Answer:
Please read the 24/12/2016 answer we gave to the S1000RR 2012 owner, applies also to your model year. Please note on BMW switch won't work.

Question:
Hi, got a 2002 748R with stock ducati braided steel brakelines. Do I need the Fren Tubo adapter as well?
09/01/2017
Answer:
Yes sure, I guess your 748R does not use a radial master cylinder but an axial .

Question:
Will the 19RCS fit and work correctly with the 2011 ZX-10R ABS with original Nissin callipers? Callipers probably the next upgrade.
10/01/2017

Question:
Buongiorno,Ho un XJR 1200 del 1996 vorrei montare le pompe radiali sia freno che frizione che modello mi consigliate?Grazie Paolo
09/02/2017
Answer:

Question:
Will it fit the Aprilia Shiver 2008 ?
21/02/2017
Answer:
Although you can use it we suggest to use 17RCS, brake feeling will be smoother.

Question:
Hello Team,I was just about to purchase this Premium Kit (Part Number: RCS19PK) but my mechanic informed me about the fact that flip-up levers are not road legal in Switzerland... Would it be possible to purchase this Premuim Kit with a "normal" (non flip-up) lever?Furthermore, is there a non flip-up version of the RCS Type clutch lever (Product code: 110B01275) ?FYI: I have a 2011 BMW S1000RRThank you in advance, Stéphane
07/03/2017
Answer:
19RCS comes as you see. Brembo does not produce RCS without a fixed lever. The folding lever is one of the features that are more requested, it is safer than a fixed laver because in case of crash the lever flips instead of breaking. Also 19RCS has the KBA homologation (KBA 61243) . Clutch lever has any homologation, also it is not available not folding

Question:
Hello, is this product made in Italy or Thailand?
13/03/2017
Answer:
This is a Brembo racing part produced in Italy....

Question:
Hi I purchased this premium kit to replace the standard MC on my 2016 Yamaha MT10, but the brake light switch is the opposite to that fitted as standard- ie when fitted, with brake off, the RCS switch is open, and it needs to be closed. Is there an alternative brake switch available for the RCS to solve this problem please?
20/03/2017
Answer:
This is the first time I heard about a Yamaha that has this kind of switch. Till now only BMW worked this way. I checked the Yamaha official spare part and it seems MT-10 uses a different switch (very expensive). Then I called Brembo and They told me the MT-10 can't work with RCS switch stop.

Question:
The k100rs 1992 use 2 calipers with double pistons in front! And 25 years ago the master cylender was already 20mm dimension.! Thank you for the adapter reference 170101... Are you confirming? Then I'll take the order tomorrow.
24/03/2017
Answer:
This Morning I talked with Brembo, it is right the oem master cylinder is 20mm. They told me the calipers have 38mm pistons, We and Brembo do not confirm you can use 19RCS because the oem master cylinder size is bigger than 19, therefore the brake fluid volume that oem mc moves is bigger that a 19.

Question:
Hi, got a 2004 CBR1000RR with stock calipers and brake disks.I have changed the factory brake lines and i usually ride it on trackdays. Is this the right product for my bike?Do i need to order anything else?Thank a lot in advance!
30/03/2017
Answer:
Yes it is the right one. If you already have a radial master cykinder you don't need anything else otherwise you need the Universal Radial Master Cylinder Adaptor, includes 1 adaptor, 4 bolts, 5 washersPart Number: 170101

Question:
Hello,I have purchased from you 19rcs master cylinder for my 1299 panigale - the brembo website did recommend them for my bike - seems tho that 17rcs are a better option ? the brembo website is a bit confusing in this regardWhat would you advise ? should I use 17rcs ? is it the better option.Must say the 19rcs seem good on the road but the bike will be tracked in the mainI have brembo sc discs and HPK rotors
01/04/2017
Answer:
Brembo web site is made by people who are not used to deal with riders and tracks. On track 19RCS is more powerful but less modulable, while 17rcs is less powerful but more modulable. Riders who are able to brake inside the first part of the corner prefer more modulability for example, other prefer more power.  Hi! I am looking for a OEM brake lever for a Desmosedici RR. Have you got something similar to the original lever (look a like )? In case you don’t have it, which of the brembo levers you advise to replace the original one ? ( I Suppose the master cylinder will be replaced as well)Thanks in advance!!
11/05/2018
Answer:
If you are asking is because you asked the Ducati dealer the price of the oem lever, He replied there is not a spare brake lever but both brake and clutch lever kit and when He told you the price you need to sit down and rest for a while... euro 770. I suggest to replace the master cylinder and spend less purchasing a cnc billet racing master cylinder like for example part number XR01171.
