Better performance: improves the performance of the previous VX series and approaches the performance of the ZVM-X series.
Tensile strength of the chain 530 VX3 4524 Kg against 4180 Kg of the previous 530 VX, Wear Resistance 530 VX3 4000 against 3800 of the previous 530 VX.
New X-Ring, the best technology available for the transmission chains.
Specifics :
D.I.D. X- Ring is the best available technology for the drive chains .
The lubricating grease is retained by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed, the result is lower friction, less power loss (more horsepower and less fuel consumption) , longer chain life.
Also the X-Ring’s four contact points greatly increase its sealing performance. This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-Ring. X-Rings have the greatest wear resistance of any other type of O-Ring or Non-O-Ring chain.
Length : motorcycle applications shown on this page have been added according to DID local distributor catalog, and are based on the original sprocket teeth. Before placing the order check your chain size and length (each plate counts for two).
Open chain to be closed with ZJ rivet closing link (included).
General advice for correct assembly (please use the workshop manual for the correct and complete procedure): before proceeding, check that the number of links of the stock chain matches the number of links of the new chain (each plate counts for two). We will not be able to accept any return if the chain has been mounted on the bike, also, if the chain is short, you will not be stay with the bike dismounted.
When replacing the chain it is always recommended to replace sprockets too. A worn sprocket significantly limits the chain life and voids the chain warranty.
Cut the original chain, clean the front sprocket area (recommended but not necessary), fit new sprockets. Close the chain. Check the chain tension by adjusting the chain tensioner located on the swingarm.
Wear Resistance based on DID Standard Chain Index = 100 .
